I put the candles in the windows last evening. I gathered up the snowflakes from the front yard and flowerbeds where they blew last weekend. I plan to rehang them on the prorch tomorrow morning. I thought about getting the boxes down from the attic. And that's about it.
The Goob came home disappointed the other day because his Geometry teacher was not using the Christmas song, I Need A Little Christmas in her homework problems.
Me: Did you need a little Christmas?
Goob: Right that very minute.
And kudos to Amidala for her little Christmas.

In WHAT universe (Beside Goob's) would a geometry teacher use Christmas songs in homework problems?
I can't conceive how that would even be possible?
Alex needs a little Christmas, right this very minute. in order to haul out the holly and put up the tree before his spirit falls again, he needs to get into the attic. if the attic opening is 8 ft off the ground, and his ladder is 10 ft long, what is the maximum horizontal distance from the attic opening that Alex can put the base of the ladder that will allow Alex to get into the attic and obtain a little snappy happy ever after?
